This document specifies an employer’s qualification system for non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel performing the testing of the following steel products under the employer’s responsibility:

a) tubes/pipes (seamless or welded);

b) flat products, long products, rails, bars, sections, rods and wires.

This document specifies qualification requirements for the competence of Level 1 and Level 2 NDT personnel to execute specific tasks in the NDT of steel products. The qualification is issued by the employer for a specific steel product and a specific test method.

This document is applicable to NDT personnel performing predominantly the automated testing of steel products, using any of the following NDT methods:

a) eddy current testing (ET);

b) leak testing (LT);

c) liquid penetrant testing (PT);

d) magnetic testing (MT);

e) radiographic testing (RT);

f) ultrasonic testing (UT

This standard specifies requirements for full peripheral ultrasonic testing of the ends of seamless and welded tubes for the detection of laminar imperfections. It is intended to detect, over a zone at the ends of plain end and bevelled end tubes, laminar imperfections which may interfere with subsequent fabrication operations (e.g.) welding, ultrasonic inspection of welds, etc). This standard is applicable to the inspection of tubes with an outside diameter greater than 30 mm. No lower limit of thickness is specified, but see note 1.

This part of ISO 10893 specifies requirements for automated ultrasonic testing for the detection of laminar imperfections 

a) in the pipe body (full peripheral testing) of seamless and welded, except submerged arc-welded (SAW),

steel tubes, or

b) in the area adjacent to the weld seam of welded steel tubes, and optionally

c) at the ends (full peripheral testing) of seamless and welded tubes.

This part of ISO 10893 can also be applicable to the testing of circular hollow sections.

NOTE For welded tubes, see ISO 10893-9 for an alternative test method for the detection of laminar imperfections in steel strip/plate prior to tube forming.

This standard specifies the quality requirements of tomatoes of varieties (cultivars) grown from Lycopersicum esculentum Mill., which are to be supplied fresh to the consumer after reparation and packaging. The standard does not apply to tomatoes for industrial processing. Tomatoes covered under this standard may be classified into four commercial types: a) “round”; b) “ribbed”; c) “oblong” or “elongated”; and d) “cherry” tomatoes (including “cocktail” tomatoes).

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of materials for resistance welding electrodes and ancillary equipment which are used for carrying current and transmitting force to the work.

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 5182:1978). Specifies the characteristics of the materials which are used for carrying current and transmitting force to the work. Gives normative references. Defines the term softening temperature. Classifies copper and copper alloys and sintered materials. Specifies test methods, designation, typical applications (annex A), hardness conversions (annex B). Annexes C and D contain properties and bibliography, respectively.

This standard lays down requirements for tungsten electrodes for inert gas shielded arc welding, and for plasma cutting and welding.  

This International Standard specifies requirements for classification of nonconsumable tungsten electrodes for inert gas shielded arc welding, and for plasma welding, cutting and thermal spraying. Information on conditions of use of these electrodes is given in Annex A (informative).

 This standard lays down the general specifications, requirements and tests of safety devices for fuel gases and oxygen or compressed air used downstream of cylinder or pipeline outlet regulators and of pipeline outlet valves, and upstream of blowpipes for welding, cutting and allied processes. It does not specify location and combination of these devices in the gas system.  

This document specifies the general requirements and tests for safety devices for fuel gases and oxygen or compressed air which do not incorporate a flame (flashback) arrestor used downstream of manifold, cylinder and/or pipeline outlet regulators, and upstream of blowpipes for welding, cutting and allied processes. This document does not specify the location of these devices in the gas system. This document is not applicable to safety devices which incorporate a flame arrestor, covered by ISO 5175-1.
