This standard applies to electric cooking and heating appliances and to electric ,motor-operated or magnetically-driven appliances for household and similar purposes, including office machines.
These requirements cover household motor-operated food preparing machines and
kitchen accessories such as knife sharpeners and can openers that are intended
to be operated for short-periods of time.
