Standards
This standard specifies requirements for the operation of laboratories and is applicable to all laboratories regardless of the number of personnel or the extent of the scope of testing activities.
This standard is for use by laboratories in developing their quality, administrative and technical systems that govern their operations. Any party may use this standard when confirming or recognising the competence of laboratories.
Within the general scope defined in Section I, ANSI/ASME B30.17 applies to overhead and gantry cranse with a top running bridge, of single-girder construction, utilizing one or more underhung hoists (see ANSI B30.16) operating on the bottom flange of the bridge girder. This Standard includes both power-driven and hand-operated equipment.
This standard specifies the requirements and methods of test for liquid household chorine bleaches.
This specification covers hollow and solid (see 5.3 and 5.4) concrete masonry units made from hydraulic cement, water, and mineral aggregates with or without the inclusion of other materials. There are three classes of concrete masonry units: Normal Weight, Medium Weight, and Lightweight. These units are suitable for both load bearing and non-load bearing applications. This standard covers hollow blocks from sizes of 3in. (76.2mm) to 8 in. (203.2mm).
Concrete masonry units covered by this specification are made from lightweight or normal weight aggregates, or both.
This standard specifies performance requirements for hollow load-bearing concrete masonry units made from Portland cement, water and mineral aggregates with or without the inclusion of other materials. It covers three weight classifications of the concrete masonry units: (a) normal weight; (b) medium weight; and (c) lightweight.
This standard specifies requirements for hollow non-load-bearing concrete masonry units made from portland cement, water and mineral aggregates with or without the inclusion of other materials. It covers three weight classifications of the concrete masonry units: (a) Normal weight; (b) Medium weight; and (c) Light weight. It also covers the sampling and testing of hollow non-load-bearing concrete masonry units for compressive strength, absorption, weight, moisture content and dimensions. It does not cover blocks intended solely for decorative purposes.
This standard specifies physical and active ingredient and requirements and methods of test for mosquito coils.
This standard specifies the method for evaluation of the biological efficacy of mosquito coils by the use of glass chamber method. This method provides a satisfactory means of determining the relative efficacy of mosquito coils.
