Standards
This International standard is applicable to a.c. circuit-breakers designed for indoor or outdoor installation for operation at frequencies of 50 Hz on systems having voltages above 1000v and applied for inductive current switching with or without additional short-circuit current breaking duties. The standard is applicable to circuit- breakers in accordance with IEC 62271-100 that are used to switch high-voltage motor currents and shunt reactor current and also to high-voltage contactors used to switch high-voltage motor currents.
This standard applies to all overhead , pad -mounted, dry and submersible single-or multiple alternating current automatic reclosers and fault interrupters for rate maximum voltages above 1000 V and u to 38 kV.
This part of IEC 62271 specifies requirements for factory - assembles metal- enclosed switchgear and control gear for alternating current of rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 k V for indoor and outdoor installation, and for service frequencies up to and including 60 Hz Enclosures may include fixed and removable components and may be filled with fluid (liquid or gas) to provide insulation.
This standard specifies requirements for gas-insulated, metal-enclosed switchgear in which the insulation is obtained, at least partly , by an insulting gas other than air at atmospheric pressure, for alternating current of rated voltage above 52 kV, for indoor and outdoor installation, and for services frequencies up to and including 60 Hz.
This technical report applies to high -voltage switchgear and control gear such as circuit breakers, disconnectors and switches. However , its application to other equipment is not excluded . The terminals can be made of any suitable materials; no coordination between dimensions and the rated normal current can be given.
This technical report contains information and test procedures for type testing of circuit- breakers relevant to short-circuit breaking performances during asymmetrical test duty (t100a) as required by IEC 62271-100.
This technical report is applicable to class E2 circuit-breakers rated 72,5 kV and above intended for use on overhead tines.
This technical report applies to medical electrical equipment (as declined in subclauses 3.63 of IEC 60601 -1 2005 and 2.2 15 IEC 60601-1 : 1988) hereinafter referred to as me equipment.
This clause of Part 1 is replaced by the following. This International standard deals with the safety of electric fans for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances.
This part of IEC 61400 deals with mechanical load measurements on wind turbines . It mainly focuses on large (.40 m2 electricity generating horizontal axis wind turbines. However, the methods described might be applicable to other wind turbines as well for example, mechanical water pumpers, vertical axis turbines.
