Standards

This standard specifies the general labelling requirements for electrical equipment, fittings and electrical appliances and their detachable heating element (s) if any, offered for sale in Guyana.

This Guyana Standard shall be applied to all electrical equipment, fittings and electrical appliances and should therefore be a standard for a particular products. It shall be applied in conjunction with the labelling requirements of this standard.

IEC 61511-2 provides guidance on the specification design , installation operation and maintenance of safety instrumented functions and related safety instrumented system as defined in IEC 61511-1.
