(a)               general rules of conduct concerning safety;

(b)               details for fire emergency and rescue procedures;

(c)               general laboratory techniques.

1.3              This standard does not cover hazards relating to radioactive substances.

Prescribes the requirements for metric capacity measures of cylindrical and conical shapes. It is intended for use by manufacturers in manufacturing Metric Capacity Measures thus ensuring all measures of a specified type and capacity will have the same dimensions. This Recommendation specifies

·    legal metrology requirements for prepackaged products (also called prepackaged commodities or prepackaged goods) labeled in predetermined constant nominal quantities of mass, volume, linear measure, area, or count, and

·         sampling plans and procedures for use by legal metrology officials in verifying the quantity of product in prepackages.

NOTE:  The sampling plans are not recommended for use in the quantity control processes of the packer.
