This Code of Practice lays down guidelines for the purchasing, (particularly for children) care and maintenance of leather, swede and canvas footwear as well as that of man-made materials. It deals with the proper procedures for handling complaints.

The following types of cut nails are covered by this standard: (a) Cut clasp nails; and (b) Cut floor brads. The types of nail covered are illustrated in Tables 1 to 25 and in the corresponding diagrams, Figures 1 to 25.
1.2 Concrete masonry units covered by this specification are made from lightweight or normal weight aggregates, or both.
