Standards
This International Standard provides guidelines beyond the requirements given in ISO 9001 in order to consider both the effectiveness and efficiency of a quality management system, and consequently the potential for improvement of the performance of an organization. When compared to ISO 9001, the objectives of customer satisfaction and product quality are extended to include the satisfaction of interested parties and the performance of the organization.
This International Standard is applicable to the processes of the organization and consequently the quality management principles on which it is based can be deployed throughout the organization. The focus of this International Standard is the achievement of ongoing improvement, measured through the satisfaction of customers and other interested parties.
This International Standard consists of guidance and recommendations and is not intended for certification, regulatory or contractual use, nor as a guide to the implementation of ISO 9001.
This part of ISO 15489 is an implementation guide to ISO 15489-1 -1 for use by record management professional and those charged with management records in their organizations. It provides one methodology that will facilitates the implementation of ISO 15489-1 in all organization that have a need to manage their records. It gives an overview of the processes and factors to consider in organization wishing to comply with ISO 15489-1.
This Technical Report gives guidelines for interpretation of the ISO 9000 series for application within the iron ore industry, including the mining , concentrating, pelletizing and shipping processes. This Technical Report will serve as a guide to help iron one producers develop a quality system that can be registered to the ISO 9000 series of quality management standards. The quality system elements have been directly matched to ISO 9001 that includes all quality system elements of ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003. Its is assumed that ISO 9001 is appropriate to the iron ore industry only when a strong design element for new product development exists.
This recommended practice (RP) sets criteria for the design, construction, testing, operation, and maintenance of offshore steel pipelines used in the production, production support, or transportation of hydrocarbons; that is, the movement by pipeline of hydrocarbon liquids, gases, and mixtures of these hydrocarbons with water. This RP may also be used for water injection pipelines offshore. The RP also applies to any transportation piping facilities located on a production platform downstream of separation and treatment facilities, including meter facilities, gas compression facilities, liquid pumps, associated piping, and appurtenances. The design, construction, inspection, and testing provisions of this RP may not apply to offshore hydrocarbon pipelines designed or installed before this latest revision of the RP was issued. The operation and maintenance provisions of this RP are suitable for application to existing facilities.

This recommended practice is based on global industry best practices and serves as a guide for those who are concerned with the design and construction of new fixed offshore platforms and for the relocation of existing platforms used for the drilling, development, production, and storage of hydrocarbons in offshore areas.

This document establishes requirements and provides guidelines for subsurface safety valve (SSSV) system equipment. This includes requirements for SSSV system design, installation, operation, testing, redress, support activities, documentation, and failure reporting. SSSV system equipment addressed by this document includes control systems, control lines, SSSVs, and secondary tools as defined herein. SSSV types including surface controlled (SCSSV), sub-surface controlled (SSCSV), and sub-surface injection safety valves (SSISV) are included. Requirements for testing of SSSVs including frequency and acceptance criteria are included. Alternate technology SSSV equipment and systems are included in these requirements. This document is not applicable to design, qualification, or repair activities for SSSVs. This document does not specify when a SSSV is required.

This standard provides requirements for the installation and testing of blowout prevention equipment systems on land and marine drilling rigs (barge, platform, bottom-supported, and floating). This includes but is not limited to: BOPs (blowout preventers), Choke and kill lines, Choke and manifolds, Control systems, Auxiliary equipment. The primary functions of these systems are to confine well fluids to the wellbore, provide means to add fluid to the wellbore, and allow controlled volumes to be removed from the wellbore.
This standard does not apply to: Diverters, shut-in devices, and rotating head systems, as these systems are designed to safely divert or direct flow rather than to confine fluids to the well bore.
This standard is intended to be used together with API RP 59.

This standard applies to wells drilled in a
deep-water environment and is intended to improve the safety of operations and
minimize the possibility of loss of well control fluids or damage to the
environment in relation to drilling, completions, suspension, production and
abandonment.
