Standards

This standard is intended to satisfy the demand for basic safety information which should be understood by each paintball game participant prior to the start of the player's first game on the day of play. The information specifies rules of personal conduct, which might affect the safety of persons who are in close proximity to a paintball marker or a propellant gas storage vessel.

This practice establishes minimum safety requirements for the operation of paintball playing fields, and provides for certain materials and procedures required.

This standard applies to the labelling of individual packages and cartons of tobacco products intended for retail sale in the Caribbean Community. This standard specifies the information, the method of display of such information, the wording and presentation of health warnings to be included on the labels of retail packages of tobacco products intended to be sold in the Caribbean Community. This standard does not apply to the labelling of cases of such individual packages or cartons, irrespective of sizes, provided the cases are not displayed or used at the point of sale.

This standard prescribes the wording of a warning notice and its presentation to the consumers in advertisements for cigarettes on television, radio, press, posters and other media of communication. It also covers the requirements for the advertising of other tobacco products. Certain types of promotional materials and advertisements are excluded (See 3.7).

This part of ISO 15489 provides guidelines on managing records 1 of originating organizations, public or private, for internal and external clients. This standard shall be applied to the production and processing of raw to heat-treated liquid milk and factory milk for human consumption. Additionally, it covers the composition and labelling of fluid milk, and fluid milk products such as pasteurised, flavoured, condensed and evaporated milk. Since the sale of raw milk for direct consumption by the end-consumer is not recommended, this standard does not establish requirements for the sale of raw milk directly to the end consumer.

Additionally, it does not cover related milk products such as fermented milk products and cheeses.

This CARICOM Regional Standard provides requirements for implementation and maintenance of a food safety and sanitation programme for tourism establishments.

While these requirements may be applicable to other establishments where food is prepared and served, for the purposes of this document the standard applies to all food premises which are part of the tourism establishment.

This standard applies to structures, and food transport vehicles and associated equipment, fixtures and fittings used by the food business in the tourism establishment.

This standard does not apply to organisations such as government ministries, regulatory departments and agencies, associations and statutory bodies that do not provide a tourism related service.
