Standards

This standard specifies the requirements for the labelling of animal feeds. This standard shall be read in conjunction with the latest edition of GYS 9-1, “Specification for labelling of commodities – Part 1 : General principles and the latest edition of GYS 9-2, “Specification for labelling of commodities – Part 2 : Labelling of pre-packaged goods.”

This standard specifies that labelling requirements for all types of equipment, items and parts containing refrigerants. It also includes containers or receptacles used for transporting and storing gases that are considered refrigerants. This standard shall be read in conjunction with the latest version of the Guyana Standard, GYS 9-1 “Specification for labelling of commodities- Part 1: General principles”.

: This standard applies to the transport of petroleum and petroleum products by road tanker wagons licensed by the Guyana Energy Agency.
