This standard applies to Watermelon, Cirtullus lanatus (Thumb) to be supplied fresh to the consumer.

The purpose of this standard is to provide the quality requirements for grades of watermelon in a lot.

consumer, and excludes products for industrial processing.

This standard applies to commercial varieties of carambolas grown from Averrhoa carambola L. to be supplied fresh to the consumer, after preparation and packaging. Carambolas for industrial processing are excluded.

This standard applies to commercial varieties of sweet potato Ipomoea batatas to be supplied fresh to the consumer.

This standard applies to commercial varieties of cassava grown from (Manihot dulcis baill and Manihot esculenta crantz) to be supplied fresh to the consumer, after preparation and packaging. Cassavas for industrial processing are excluded.

This standard specifies a system of designating the sizes of ladies outerwear garments, the control dimensions on which the size designation is based and the method of indicating these dimensions on the label. This standard also specifies body dimensions related to each size, as stated in Appendix A.

This standard also describes exhaust emission requirements, measurement methods and measurement equipment for all vehicles, which are imported into Guyana after December 31, 1997. All imported vehicles would be required to conform to exhaust emission limits specified in the standard. Accordingly, the exhaust emission limits must be fully documented and certified by the suppliers/manufacturers, from the country of origin.
