This Code o Practice
recommends safe practices for conducting vehicle tyre and tube repairs in repair
shops. It refers to permanent repairs. All externally applied (while the tyre
is mounted on the rim) plugs are only temporary repair, and if used for a
prolonged period, will lead to premature failure of the tyre.
