This Guyana Standard is a glossary which defines terms related to passenger car and commercial vehicle tyres. The standard is divided into six sections dealing respectively with general definitions, definitions related to structure, main components, tyre dimensions, service, injury and repair.
This standard specifies physical dimensions, performance and marking requirements for new, used and retreaded pneumatic tyres for highway commercial vehicles.

This standard covers flat-bottomed water storage tanks of circular cross-section manufactured from unreinforced polyethylene by the process of rotational moulding. Included are requirements for physical characteristics, dimensions, materials performance, testing marking and labelling.
These specifications apply to tanks intended for:
(a) The storage of potable water at normal atmospheric pressure;
(b) Installation and use at environmental or service temperatures such that the material of tank remains between 15 °C and 80°C; and
(c) Vertical, above- ground installation on fixed, flat, fully- supporting bases.
This standard specifies the information to be included on labels of all pesticides, in any form, including aerosol insecticides that are destined to be applied by end-users.
This standard does not apply to pesticides:
a) which are used as human pharmaceuticals; or
b) utilised in an industrial setting, that is, active ingredients, bulk pesticide formulations destined for reformulation, repackaging or disposal or other pesticide formulation components.
