Standards
This document specifies the general requirements and tests for safety devices for fuel gases and oxygen or compressed air which do not incorporate a flame (flashback) arrestor used downstream of manifold, cylinder and/or pipeline outlet regulators, and upstream of blowpipes for welding, cutting and allied processes. This document does not specify the location of these devices in the gas system. This document is not applicable to safety devices which incorporate a flame arrestor, covered by ISO 5175-1.
This standard specifies the requirements for baby powder prepared from a blend of materials to produce the characteristics set out in Clause 4. It applies to baby powder used for newborns (birth to 1 month), infants (1 month to 1 year), and young children (1 year through 6 years). It does not apply to aerosols.
This International Standard describes the fundamentals of product certification and provides guidelines for understanding, developing, operating or maintaining certification schemes for products, processes and services. It is intended for use by all with an interest in product certification, and especially by certification scheme owners.
NOTE 1 In this International Standard the term “product” can also be read as “process” or “service”, except in those instances where separate provisions are stated for “processes” or “services”. Definitions of product, process and service are given in ISO/IEC 17065.
NOTE 2 The certification of products, processes and services is a third-party conformity assessment activity (see ISO/IEC 17000) carried out by product ertification bodies. The requirements for product certification bodies are specified in ISO/IEC 17065.
This standard outlines minimum requirements for performance, labelling, construction and testing of non-medical face masks. These non-medical face masks are intended to reduce the risk of general transmission of infectious agents but do not fall under the ambit of personal protective equipment (PPE).
This standard is applicable to non-medical face masks made out of paper, plastic, fabric or any other breathable materials, synthetic or natural, that are disposable or reusable. It also applies to non-medical face masks that are stitched or bonded by any other methods.
This standard does not apply to the following types of face masks:
a) folded without stitching;
b) medical; and
c) elastomeric particulate respirators.
This standard does not address flame resistance, high-heat, electrical arc or related hazards.
